Fusion Electrical Contractors Ltd has formed partnerships with two prominent Stoke-on-Trent companies, Broad Oak Properties and the BGC group.
This followed the completion of a major three-year ‘decent homes’ contract with FHM for Northampton Borough Council. The work involved a major re-wiring programme on the council’s housing stock, the replacement of fuse boards and kitchen/bathroom installations.
Fusion has been chosen to carry out a significant programme of works involving Stoke-on-Trent City Council. Following the installation of solar panels to the council’s housing stock, our electrical team began a re-wiring project across the Potteries. We have also secured the electrical contract to work on 100 kitchens in local authority properties.
A further area of work for Stoke-on-Trent City Council is focused on wet room conversions. Fusion is also completing two wet room conversions per week for Derby Homes.
We are also carrying out re-wires and void improvements for North West Leicestershire District Council.
Fusion has forged a close relationship with South Staffs Housing Association and has conducted electrical tests at its offices in Penkridge. We also won a contract from the association to undertake a significant improvement programme involving re-wiring and central heating work.
Stafford and Rural Homes is another valued client, with Fusion upgrading the electrics in kitchens and bathrooms.
We are also working on various domestic installations for B&Q (Birmingham), completing around 25-30 installations every week. In addition to being responsible for general electrical work in bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms, Fusion is B&Q’s preferred contractor for remedial work, correcting faults still covered under warranty.
We are proud to have been chosen to install central heating systems as part of the Warm Front contract, which has led to Fusion extending its reach and reputation to the Liverpool and Manchester areas. The contract came via JG Energy Solutions Ltd and involves Y Plan, S Plan and combi system installations.
Fusion has also completed work at a small housing development at The Old Pear Tree Inn in Telford. This involved the conversion of a former pub into apartments, plus work on several new-build apartments and semi-detached homes.
Fusion has linked up with several well-known estate agents to provide safety checks and electrical work on rented properties.
We also undertake contractual work for Spring Care, a large nursing home concern in Shropshire and Cheshire, as well as working alongside three loft conversion companies to ensure power and lighting solutions make the best possible use of available space.
Fusion was also the chosen contractor to install intelligent lighting at Cookes furniture store in Erdington.
