Craig’s work covers domestic, commercial and industrial projects. He says Fusion is “the best place he has ever worked” because of the people involved and the team spirit. Out of hours, Craig swaps his Fusion uniform for the gold top of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Ben has worked as an electrician since leaving school. A Walsall fan, his early career saw him working at several football grounds including Aston Villa. Since joining the Fusion team, Ben has lived up to his name and carried out a lot of work on kitchens. He also finds himself in bathrooms working on Fusion’s B&Q contract.
Dan’s recent projects for the company have focused mainly on carrying out rewiring work for Northampton Council. He has also got to know the Midlands area better in recent months, having worked in Stoke, Stafford and Derby. He spends his spare time ‘socialising’ which he says is his main hobby.
Rob qualified as an electrician at the turn of the new millennium and leads a varied life with Fusion. He’s handled everything from fitting showers in houses to carrying out testing work in factories and offices. When he’s not got his screwdriver in his hand, Rob’s main hobby is supporting West Brom.
With a surname like Watts, Adam was destined to work in the electrical field. He shines at both domestic and commercial projects. Adam recently worked on a job for Fusion customer Joseph Joseph. In his spare time he loves playing football with his two children and taking them to Waterworld in Stoke-on-Trent.
Neil Bastable is Scott’s cousin and has 30 years’ professional experience behind him. He has worked on a wide variety of Fusion projects, but particularly enjoys rewires. His passion in life is riding his Honda Fireblade 900 RRW.
Scott is an experienced electrician who specialises mainly in rewiring domestic houses.
He has been involved in many social housing projects which Fusion carries out on behalf of various local authorities.
Wolves fan Scott studied for his City and Guilds qualifications at Stourbridge College.
Joel started Fusion Electrical Contractors in 2009 after working as a sole trader for several years. An experienced and dedicated electrician, Joel soon found himself with a bulging orders book and signing an ever-growing list of contracts.
The answer was to set up his own company at the Landywood Enterprise Park in Great Wyrley and Fusion was born. Joel has never looked back since. During Christmas 2011 – at a time when many firms were laying off staff – around 23 electricians were working on Fusion projects. Joel’s approach is very much hands-on and he still joins in on electrical jobs in between building up the business.
Joel’s team is made up of accounts manager KAREN HAWKINS, operations supervisor CHRIS RUSSELL plus a team of highly qualified electricians. Below are some of the experienced and familiar faces that can be spotted working on Fusion electrical projects:
